NOISE CONTROL
Noise can be a major pollutant deriving from inside and/or outside of the home. Many noises in the urban environment are sufficiently loud to cause more than annoyance, but also a hearing loss.
Building technologies exist to reduce and/or eliminate noises from trains, cars, police, sirens, human voices, plumbing systems, house appliances, fans, furnaces, heat recovery ventilators, etc. Simply by becoming aware of this issue prior to building or renovating, we can create a peaceful, noise-free environment for new or existing homes.
