GREEN CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES
New home construction, and especially renovations, where there is demolition to the existing building, creates much waste. The approach to waste management must be: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. The old adage after all says: One man's trash is another man's treasure.

New material purchasing for the project is done in the most reduced approach. Accuracy in the take-off and materials specifications is augmented to ascertain minimal waste. Wherever possible, reuse existing building components such as lumber, doors, hardware, etc. Recycle as much as possible all other left over materials. Becoming a green builder is an awareness process, it requires to feel the planet earth and future generations. It requires new thoughts, it requires integrity.
