Building the World's Largest Jade Museum
In March of 1996, the Thai Buddhist Temple of Niagara Falls, Ontario called me to meet their spiritual leader, the Loungpho. He told me that during meditation he had seen in the remote British Columbia mountains "A Rock from Heavens", a jade which was the biggest in the world, which he was to place in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
The jade was to be installed free-standing in the middle of the floor, as if arising from earth and levitating. The holy jade made the long journey home to Niagara Falls in July 1996. We completed the project by the end of 1996. The project was perfect and the official opening took place on June 25, 1997. This photo journal describes the final chapter of the holy jade's journey to Niagara Falls.
